VTL - INTELLIGENT VACUUM PUMP SYSTEM

ARE YOU USING VACUUM PUMPS IN PRODUCTION?

You can optimize their operation and save!

One large liquid ring vacuum pump always consumes the same amount of energy and service liquid regardless of the production load.

Why overpay? An alternative is the VTL system with a modular design, which automatically adjusts the power to the current production needs.
As a result, the pumps can operate longer and more efficiently, with lower energy and liquid consumption.

WHAT MAKES UP ONE VTL MODULE?

  • A liquid ring vacuum pump
    with the required performance,
  • TEFC electric motor,
  • Separator (stainless steel retention tank),
  • Stainless steel heat exchanger,
  • Service liquid level and temperature sensors,
  • Flow sensor between the separator and
    the pump,
  • Valves: pneumatic/electric admission,
    ball valve,
  • All components made of stainless steel:
control and measurement instruments and apparatus, piping, and support frame,
  • Seals from Garlock GmbH.

WHERE ARE LIQUID RING PUMPS AND VTL MODULES SUITABLE?

  • Chemical, pharmaceutical, food, paper, and textile industries,
  • Filling of centrifugal pumps and performing levers.

WHY THE MODULAR VTL SYSTEM?

Cost-effective
Lower water and energy consumption, which is continuously adjusted to current production needs.

Flexible
The modular construction allows for
customization of the entire system to individual requirements.

Efficient
The individual modules operate
alternately, so the lifespan of the system is longer.

        Operating Characteristics LRV(S)

NOT USING LIQUID RING VACUUM PUMPS? TIME FOR A CHANGE!

  • Efficiency up to 10,000 m³/h,
  • Pressure up to 33 mbar abs (-0.98 bar G),
  • Made of stainless steel, cast iron, or ductile iron.

The VTL series LRV(S) pumps we offer, which are part of each module, can also be purchased separately.

Modules can be interconnected in systems with the desired efficiency of up to 12,000 m³/h.

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE

A crucial factor that affects the temperature of the sealing liquid and, consequently, the operation of vacuum pumps.

HOT DAYS AND VACUUM PUMP EFFICIENCY

When the ambient temperature reaches or exceeds 30°C, the efficiency of vacuum pumps can decrease by as much as 50%!

30°C

SELECTING PUMP PERFORMANCE FOR EXTREMELY UNFAVORABLE WORKING CONDITIONS

This ensures there are no production downtimes. The problem is that traditional systems always operate at full power/efficiency, even when it’s not necessary (optimal conditions).

IF THE SEALING LIQUID IS 2 TIMES WARMER,

then a 2 times larger pump is needed*

This will maintain production at the planned level, but it results in 2 times higher consumption of electricity, water, and… the entire system.

*Assuming that the temperature of the sealing liquid is 30°C.

UNFAVORABLE EXTERNAL CONDITIONS FOR VACUUM PUMPS

HOT DAYS WITH TEMPERATURES
≥ 30°C

APPROXIMATELY 36 DAYS / 365 DAYS IN A YEAR =
ONLY 10%

ENERGY LOSS – FOR 90% OF DAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Vacuum pumps operate with the same power in lower ambient temperatures as they do on hot days.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Approximately 60% of the pump’s power is unnecessarily used for 90% of the days throughout the year, only generating costs for water and energy consumption, as well as the entire system.

MODULAR VTL INSTALLATION

Designed with maximum production efficiency and cost savings in mind.

Operates at 100% only when conditions require it.

Adjusts its power to current production needs.

CONSTRUCTION OF ONE VTL MODULE

MODULAR VTL INSTALLATION

There is the possibility to add or remove modules, depending on the needs.

From modules with a nominal efficiency of 150 and 300 m³/h, systems of any desired efficiency can be constructed.

300 m³/h

600 m³/h

900 m³/h

1200 m³/h

FULLY AUTOMATED OPERATION OF THE MODULAR VTL SYSTEM

Without energy losses

The modules automatically connect or disconnect depending on the demand.

VTL SYSTEM – BENEFITS

SAVINGS ON SERVICE

Lower failure rate = maintaining operational continuity = no production losses.

VTL SYSTEM – BENEFITS

TIME SAVINGS

Easy and quick replacement of system components, exchanging the entire module takes a maximum of one hour.

VTL SYSTEM – BENEFITS

COST SAVINGS

Longer lifespan of the entire system + reduced energy and water consumption = cost savings.

VTL SYSTEM – BENEFITS

EXPENDITURE SAVINGS

Modules that make up the intelligent VTL system are cheaper to purchase compared to traditional solutions!

Who is the VTL system for?

The system is suitable for both large and small production facilities (evaporation and concentration of liquids).

Food industry:

dairies, bakeries, sugar factories, distilleries, breweries, vegetable and fruit processing, etc.

Chemical industry:

fertilizer production, fuels, plastics, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, cleaning agents, etc.

VTL SYSTEM TAILORED TO FIT

The ability to adapt the system to individual production needs:

  • Expansion and improvement of the existing pump system,
  • Creation of an entirely new modular installation.

VTL SYSTEM SUMMARY

Reduction of production costs through:

  • Lower consumption of water, energy, and the entire system (optimization of pump operation),
  • Lower purchase cost of the system, maintaining production continuity (less downtime),
  • Savings on service.

Don't overpay, choose the VTL system!

Pierwszy wiersz Lorem Ipsum, „Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…” pochodzi właśnie z sekcji 1.10.32.
